For the last year’s Olympia, William Bonac placed 6th overall which made most of the fans upset. As we all know, Bonac is one of the best bodybuilders we currently have right now. Not only that but he is also known for his humble attitude and incredible work ethic.

The top 5 finalist of the Open Olympia automatically qualifies to compete in this year’s Mr. Olympia. With Bonac ending in 6th place means he needs to earn points to qualify which seems to be pretty easy for him.

Earning Points to Qualify

Arnold’s classic is the second most prestigious show of the year in which bodybuilders desire to participate. Talking about William Bonac, he won the Arnolds back in 2018 and 2020.

“How do you keep going, ex; injuries, career…”

Bonac mentioned his serious injury in 2018 to his legs which made him scared and he thinks it was the end of his career.

He said that with the injury, he does alternate exercises and he makes sure that there is enough power together with the right support.

When it comes to his career, he keeps going for his family, especially for his kids. He wants to give them the drive and discipline and show them that anything is possible and to never give up. His kids keep him going and he wants them to follow in his footsteps.

“What is your next competition”

He never tried intermitted fasting but he can agree that fasting is good but if you’re doing bodybuilding, then fasting is not good. About the protein diet, it will build muscles and with the proper training, it should yield good results.

“How many exercises do you do per muscle group?”

Bonac separates his training with thickness and weight.

Early in the week, he will train his weight with 9-10 exercises and he will do his biceps. And in the legs, he will do 12-14 exercises.

“Do you prefer evening or morning workouts?”

Bonac prefers the evening. He said that in the evening he is stronger. He can give his 100% in the evening.

“What is your favorite Quad exercise?”

Leg extensions because he can feel all the muscles especially when he does alternate.
