Vlad Suhoruchko is one of the 19 qualified bodybuilders listed to compete in this year’s Olympia.
He is only 25 years old and is considered to be the youngest to qualify for this most prestigious event. However, only a few days left before the Olympia, heartbreaking news broke out that led to him not being part of this year’s competition.
When Visa Gets in The Way
Vlad is not able to make it to the Olympia as he is getting a lot of problems with his Visa.
In his interview, it is obvious that he is so sad and disappointed that he can’t make it this year. However, he did mention that he will use this time to rest and make a plan with his coach about competing next year.

Vlad seems skeptical when he was asked if he can make it to the Kuwait competition. He mentioned that it is so hard to get a Kuwait visa as well.
Nothing else is more heartbreaking for athletes than not participating in huge events like this given the fact that you’re already qualified.
Vlad’s Thoughts about the Olympia
Although this year’s O is not for Vlad, he showed some positivity for next year’s competition and he commit to improving himself and coming out as a better Vlad for 2022 O.

- William Bonac
- Hadi Choopan

- Nick Walker
- Akim Williams
He also show his support to his team (Oxygen) which includes Brandon Curry, Akim Williams, William Bonac and Justin Rodriguez.
